The HPOM licensing component uses configuration parameters which are stored under the file name opr.el in the server resource group. These parameters must be adapted to the requirements of the user.LicenseAdminEmailAddress E-mail address of the person responsible for HPOM license management or the person monitoring the HPOM license status.

The initial setting is root@<local_long_hostname>.

SwitchOffWarning Toggle warning messages on or off when the number of licenses for a licensed product component reaches the defined level. This can be set to TRUE or FALSE.

Switch Off Warning works in conjunction with the Severity configuration parameter. Critical license warning messages are always sent, regardless of the configuration settings.

Severity Severity level that must be reached before an internal HPOM license warning message is sent.

This parameter can be set to Warning or Major. The initial setting is Warning. Content Level of detail for license reports. The level can be set to Summarized orDetailed. The default setting is Summarized.License reports can be very lengthy when there is a large number of configured nodes. To avoid this, the detail level should be set to Summarized.

To set the configuration parameters, Use the following command:

/opt/OV/bin/ovconfchg -ovrg server -ns opr.el \

-set LicenseAdminEmailAddress license_admin@company.com \
