Pentium Compiler Group -- The Pentium Compiler Group was founded in late '95 to enhance and support pentium optimization in GCC (the GNU C Compiler). GCC does a very good job when optimizing, but the Pentium Chip's architecture demanded different optimization strategies.
There are two projects using GUILE as their extension language:

Often people have problems compiling GNU software on their own (due to OS deficiencies, porting problems, &c.) So some kind people have made binaries available. I suspect there are more out there, so please let me know if you know of any others.
The following companies provide commercial support for GNU software. There are probably others.
