MC editor macros and user menu

User menu is the most interesting innovation of mcedit. To make it functional mcedit author (Paul Sheer, who is also the author of GUI version of editor called cedit) provided a couple very interesting and useful macrovariables. One if %b, the other is %c.

Here is default mcedit menu (for historical reasons stored in the file cedit.menu):

#    only once per menu file entry or extension file entry,
#    because next time there will be no tagged files.

#    is shown and the text inside the braces is used as a
#    prompt. The macro is substituted by the text typed by the
